Product Warranted:
This warranty cover applies to new Mahindra Powerol Diesel Generator Set (10 KVA to 75 KVA) sold by Mahindra
& Mahindra Limited, Powerol business (“Company”) or its authorized OEMs or Company dealers in India
(“Product”) and delivered to the first user of the Product sold on or after 1st Nov’19 and the cover purchased
through Company’s official website (www.mahindrapowerol.com) (“Owner”).
Warranty Coverage:
Coverage begins from the date of sale of the Product to the Owner & continues upto five (5) or five thousand
(5000) hours of operation, whichever occurs first from the date of invoice of the Product to the first user.
Inclusions:
This warranty covers the following warrantable failures which result from a defect in material or factory
workmanship (“Warrantable Failures") of the Product:
Base engine;
Alternator
Canopy; or
Panel inside the DG set
Exclusions:
This warranty excludes the following:
Consumable parts – (i) Oil, filters, coolant etc. replaced in schedule maintenance; (ii) Rubber parts like hoses,
belts, gaskets, fasteners or any other part replaced for scheduled maintenance, paint; and (ii) Battery, AMF panel
contactors, MCCB after expiry of two (2)years of standard warranty.
Defects/damage caused to the Product due to normal wear and tear, failure to undertake scheduled
maintenance, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper load, usage of non-recommended/spurious parts, accidents,
natural calamities or extreme weather conditions.
Company responsibilities:
Company will cover parts and labour costs needed to repair/ rectify faults resulting from a Warrantable Failure by
repair/ replacement of faulty parts at its own cost.
Owner responsibilities:
Scheduled maintenance must be availed by the Owner as per Company recommendations from authorized
Mahindra Powerol service network. Owner is responsible for the cost of lubricating oil, coolant, filter elements
and other maintenance items like gaskets, hoses, belts etc. replaced during scheduled maintenance along with
the labour cost of maintenance. Installation of the Products shall be done as per norms specified by the Company
while adhering to Product operating procedures and guidelines for day to day operations as per operations and
maintenance manual of the Product. In case of change in installation site, the new installation site needs to be
validated by Authorized Mahindra Powerol service network for continuation of warranty. Owner to inform
Company in case of change in registered mobile number and email ID.
Limitations:
Scheduled maintenance must be availed by the Owner as per Company recommendations from the authorized
Mahindra Powerol service network, without which this warranty shall become null and void. This warranty is non-
transferable, either to another diesel generator set or to another owner.
General terms and conditions:
1. For all service requirements, Owner should call on Toll Free number (1800 419 1999) or log on to the customer
portal (https://epowerol.com/PowerolCustomer/Public/Index.aspx).
2. The above warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, and no person/ party is authorized
to give any other warranties on the Company’s behalf or assume any other liability in connection with the Product.
3. The Company shall be entitled to change the terms of warranty if such change is required due to change in any
law, rule, regulation.
4. The Company’s decision as to inclusion or exclusion of any part/ defect under this warranty shall be final and
binding on the Owner.
5. Any failure resulting because of the fault developed on EB Mains line, contactors eg. Voltage fluctuation, short
circuit, overload etc & its consequential failures are not included under this warranty.
6. Company is not responsible for any damages & losses which are consequential in nature due to any fault
developed in the DG set.
7. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts
at Mumbai.

Super Shield Value + coverage:
Coverage begins from the date of sale of the Product to the Owner & continues upto five (5) or five thousand
(5000) hours of operation, whichever occurs first from the date of invoice of the Product to the first user.
Inclusions:
This service package covers the following warrantable failures which result from a defect in material
or factory workmanship (“Warrantable Failures") of the Product:
Base engine;
Alternator
Canopy; or
Panel inside the DG set
Repair/replacement of failed components.
Labour charges for all preventive maintenance & breakdown complaints related to Product.
Labour charges for major and minor repairs including overhauls.
All scheduled calibrations & checks.
In case of any major breakdown where DG is not operational for more than 48 hours, backup power will
be organised for the Customer to address critical backup needs.
Exclusions:
This service package excludes the following:
Consumable parts – (i) Oil, filters, coolant etc. replaced in schedule maintenance, paint; and (ii) Battery, AMF
panel contactors, MCCB after expiry of two (2)years of standard warranty.
